After a prolonged delays due to rain and wet ground, work is finally moving once again. The drainage pipe has been installed and construction should progress more quickly.

The rain and snow have caused a delay. There is an underground drainage system that has to be laid. It must be done before any additional construction can occur. To do so, the ground must be dry and/or there must be seven days without rain/snow. The heavy equipment has already sunk in the mud once so the delay is caused by the fact that there have not been seven days without rain and the ground is too wet to proceed. The contractor still anticipates completion by the time the pool is scheduled to open in May assuming the weather cooperates.
