"The Holly Springs Police are warning families about a man who is calling families in Holly Springs (including a family in the Holly Glen Subdivision), and talking with children on the phone. This man is telling the children that he is a Doctor and asking them personal questions over the phone. The Holly Springs Police are investigating the incident and we want to strongly warn parents to PLEASE talk to their children and teach them not to answer questions to anyone over the phone no matter who the caller says they are. Tell the children to yell in the phone, be rude, or do whatever the parent feels necessary to keep the caller from calling back. We encourage anyone who recieves a call from a stranger posing as a Doctor or asking personal questions to please call the police department." GE Dishwasher recall information (posted July, 2007)

General Electric has issued a recall for certain models of its dishwashers. Many of the homes in Holly Glen may have these recalled models especially those homes built in the earlier phases of the development. The stated problem is as follows: "Liquid rinse-aid can leak from its dispenser onto the dishwasher’s internal wiring which can cause an electrical short and overheating, posing a fire hazard to consumers."

The HOA supports the efforts of our management company, Talis Management, in enforcing the covenants and bylaws of our community. Prior to the HOA being under homeowner control (the HOA was under developer control until January, 2006), there was a general lack of support of the management company by the HOA board. Our covenants haven’t changed, but the level of enforcement has increased. The HOA and the Holly Glen neighborhood appreciate all of our neighbors who have complied with enforcement requests over the past few months. We share a common goal of enhancing the beauty and quality of life of our Holly Glen neighborhood.
